PRIMARY 7B 2013

Welcome to Primary 7B and Mrs O'Brien. Really looking forward to starting our new session tomorrow. Hope you have all had a wonderful summer holiday and are looking forward to your final year at Kirklandneuk. See you all tomorrow. TERM 1 Primary 7 have had a fantastic start to our final year of Primary school. We have really enjoyed getting to know our buddies and supporting them as they settle into school. We have read stories to them, taken them on a tour of the school, helped them play games at break and supported them at lunchtimes in the dinner hall. We are looking forward to helping them as the year progresses.
We also have the added responsbilities of monitoring at break. We take turns to carry out the duties and enjoy helping out. Our class performed the first assembly of the school year “Back to School with God”. It was a great success as the pupils had taken time to carefully learn their lines and they sang their class song beautifully. It was well supported by our parents who gave us fantasic feedback on our performance. We are delighted to announce that we raised £98.00 for our chosen charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care. We are very busy working on our topic “Dragons Den – Kickstart” as part of our Enterprise and Health and Well being. We are working hard to develop our skills in order to deliver fitness classes to parents and people in our local community. Fitness classes will commence in Term 2 and we hope you can join us regularly for an afternoon of fitness and fun for all the family!
