Term 4

Wow, what an incredibly fast year. We have had great fun and learned lots of things in the past 3 terms however we have so much to look forward to in the next 8 weeks. In PE, we will focus on Tennis and Athletics in preparation for Sports Day in June. We have started the Daily Mile in Term 4 and we are all working hard to develop our stamina and run the distance each day, even in the rain. We are also developing our skills in Social Dance, learning a range of dances in preparation for our Leavers' Dance at the Normandy Hotel at the end of June. This is always such a fantastic and memorable event for our Primary 7s and we hope that all our pupils will attend. They will enjoy some ceilidh dancing and a delicious buffet with their classmates and staff. TRIP TO ROLLS ROYCE We were fortunate to visit Rolls Royce at the end of April to their factory in Inchinnan which the pupils thoroughly enjoyed. The apprentices had recently organised a day of activities to promote STEM subjects and the visit to the factory gave the pupils a better insight into their jobs and learn more about the business of Rolls Royce. This was also linked to our World of Work. We are very grateful to all the staff that worked with us and for giving us such an interesting tour of the factory.
