PRIMARY 7 2015-2016
Welcome to Primary 7 Room 16. We have had a fantastic start to our new school year, keeping very busy.
NEW RESPONSIBILITIES
We have really enjoyed taking on all our new roles including monitoring and buddying. We have been a great support to our P1 Buddies, helping them to settle in by spending time with them, taking them on a tour of the school and having lunch with them. We are making good friendships and look forward to working with them across the year.
TRANSITION SUPPORT
We are very fortunate to be receiving lots of support from Renfrew High School this session. This term we have Mrs Lockhart from the English department teaching us about the skill of inference. We have studied a range of images, making judgements based on facial expressions, settings and body language. We are looking forward to doing a short film study.
We have also enjoyed a couple of sessions of Art with Miss Gibson from RHS. We started off creating simple line drawings of the different organs inside the human body. We created posters about healthy living.
KICKSTART
We are busy undergoing training to become Kickstart instructors for our re-launch in October. In Dance we have been learning how to create aerobics routines and using BMT techniques in our lessons to help us re-call dance moves.
BUILDING OUR CLASS COMMUNITY
We have all settled in well to P7 and have demonstrated excellent behaviour, being good role models to the rest of the school. We have enjoyed some PE outside and carrying out some co-op learning and skills activities with Room 15. The term is going so fast, but we are having lots of fun.

I really enjoyed the science workshop my favourite experiment was the one that went pop and went in the air. Lauren Peacock
