TERM 3 2015-2016 (PART 2)

It has been an extremely busy and interesting term for Primary 7. We have lots of highlights to share with you. VISIT TO THE EQUESTRIAN CENTRE As an extension to World of Work week, we had the opportunity to visit Ingliston Country Club in Bishopton to see a local business. Before the trip most of the children were unaware of this establishment and did not know what an equestrian centre was. When we arrived we got to see the premises and were split into 3 groups. The children really enjoyed getting a tour of the stables and seeing the horses. The pupils got to try put a horse simulator which some found quite scary and we also enjoyed a range of team games. It was a very enjoyable trip and a great opportunity to see a real-life business environment and find out about the services and job opportunities they offer to the local area.
ROLLS ROYCE STEM DAY On Monday 14th March, we had a fantastic and fun filled day with Rolls Royce. The day was organised by a team of apprentices who created a range of activities to promote the subjects science, technology, engineering and maths. We also took part in a range of team building exercises. It was a great day and we were very lucky to receive a goody bag. Many thanks to all the staff for providing such a good opportunity and well organised day for the pupils. Here are some pics of our day.
